with Arena di Verona and Milan-based design agency Studiopepe: Uni Sonos. Featuring a never-before-seen

collection of stunning costumes of Aida and female figures created for the 100th Arena di Verona Opera

Festival 2023 by Stefano Poda, the installation is a milestone bridging the world of finance and design and a

celebration of women's empowerment, diversity, and creativity.

This landmark collaboration is derived from the concept of "Uni Sono", where voices with different timbres and

characters unite to resonate with the same frequency and pitch, reflecting UniCredit and Studiopepe’s shared

values of unity, support, and togetherness. In keeping with the concept of voices, Uni Sonos will feature a

musical accompaniment to help bring the viewers’ experience of the installation to life.

Uni Sonos is born of two institutions working together who are a natural fit with each other, as Studiopepe’s

extraordinary and innovative approach to design aligns perfectly with UniCredit's commitment to excellence,

being forward-thinking, and acting for change.

The project also reinforces UniCredit’s long-term partnership with Fondazione Arena di Verona, the only Italian

opera foundation directed by a woman, Cecilia Gasdia (currently in her second term). Uni Sonos showcases the

very peak of female creativity and culture in a unique setting that mirrors the iconic Arena di Verona, with

contemporary amphitheater-shaped structures that serve as both a stage for performances and a communal

gathering space. Its inviting, curved forms encourage exploration and the pleasure of discovery.

The Auditorium will also host discussions, uniting thought leaders and innovators to delve into topics related

to Italian culture, societal trends, and aspirational design.

Throughout Milan Design Week, visitors will experience the power of voice and unity through a series of

captivating performances and the installation at the UniCredit Building. These enchanting evening

performances will create a unique and immersive experience that underscores the significance of integration

and togetherness. During the day, attendees are also invited to record audio clips of their own voices, to be

woven into an evocative symphony. This interactive element of the project emphasizes the importance of

creativity and interaction in shaping a more equitable and sustainable world, and the symphony will become

another part of UniCredit’s proudly rich and forward-thinking artistic heritage.
