Now in its eleventh edition, 5VIE Design Week brings back to the heart of the historic center of Milan, along the harmoniously knotted streets of the area between C.so Magenta, Sant'Ambrogio and the Columns of San Lorenzo, the signature and collectible design, elite craftsmanship and new combinations between art and design, creativity and form.
If last year Design for good recalled the increasingly stringent need for mutual care among human beings, looking at design as a tool capable of combining anthropocentrism and philanthropy at the same time, Unlimited Design Orchestra today aims to amplify its sense and significance, tracing in music and, specifically, in the elements of an orchestra, the models to be inspired by a design increasingly focused on an intrinsically human dimension and humanistic, in the wake of that cultural proposal and that vision of the world which, starting from the second half of the 1300s, thanks to Francesco Petrarca, had led to a revival of the studia humanitatis and to a repositioning of man at the center of every consideration, with the consequent birth of Humanism.
