Al Ghadeer

Central to the Tirhal Collection are the skill and talent of 16 Bedouin women, participants in the Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts program. These artisans intricately handcrafted each piece using sustainable materials and traditional Sadu weaving techniques. The collection pays homage to the rich tradition of Al Sadu weaving, reflecting the natural tones of traditional tribal life in the Arabian Peninsula.

Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, founder of Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts, emphasizes the empowering impact of this project: "Empowering women financially and socially through crafts is our core value. Our craftswomen are uniquely talented and are not only preserving our roots and heritage but also helping to deliver a new chapter for Emirati designs."
