Al Ghadeer

Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts was set up in 2006 to provide women with training, designs, raw materials, and marketing services to create culturally inspired products to assist them in earning a dignified living and sustaining traditional crafts. It was set up by Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa bint Hamdan Al Nahyan, President assistance for women affairs at Emirates Red Crescent and head of Al Ghadeer project. Since its founding Al Ghadeer has trained more than 340 craftswomen with a range of nationalities and ages to empower them economically and socially through the ethical practice of crafts. Al Ghadeer UAE Crafts offers a range of products to its customers including home accessories, corporate gifts, stationery and fashion.
