REBIRTH

bronze, onyx and light

Rebirth is a light sculpture in onyx, created to illuminate the path of those who recognize not only its functional and aesthetic value, but especially for those who understand its energetic, soothing and vibrational power. Rebirth is an egg of light, expression of a form of design that meets the energetic rebirth we all long for.

An object of art and craftmanship that illuminates with wisdom and gentleness the everyday life.

An egg of light capable of bringing back every element to its original purity.

The egg is a clear reference to ancient symbolism: a primordial rebirth archetype of the soul, creation, fertility and prosperity.

Obteined from onyx, with its reflections milky and pure, Rebirth represents an object of high Italian manufature and design, a vehicle of trascendence an peace.

Onyx, a stone know since ancient times for its rebalancing properties, is capable of giving calm and concentration and ideal to create a serene atmosphere.

The natural veins of the stone, from which the light filters more or less intensely, are like a caress for the human soul.

Here light, form and matter embody a human and archaic need to connect with the elements, evoking the perfection of forms of nature.

Once turned on, the light melts and diffuses all these properties in the sorrounding space.

Rebirth is for all of those who wish to reconnect with their inner stillness, relying on power of light.

Get into the light...

AMALA

brass, onyx, light

Amala, deriving from sanskrit: pure, complete, it refers to an elevated state of consciousness, enlightenment, where the form’s engagement is transcended even though endorsed.

The egg, an ancient symbol of rebirth and prosperity, is the beating and lighted heart of this object.

The brass shell metaphorically represents instead the world of forms, orbiting around us with the function to reflect and shape the light emitted by the egg.

Amala is nourished by the shell movement designed around the egg and moved by the user’s hand impulses.

Thanks to this gesture the user has the possibility of interacting directly with the object, adjusting the shape and the atmosphere in the room.

Amala constantly reminds everyone to return to our own self, source of immense love and light.

It leads us towards a presence state where we can recognise/see the world of forms, our ego and personality as something we have and not that we are.

Amala suggests us to transcend the surrounding world, welcoming its characteristics through which we can reflect and spread our light and essence.
