Fornice Objects

Designer

Spatial designer Chiara Ravaioli, graduated from the University of the Arts of London in 2016. She now works and lives in Italy.

As spatial designer, Chiara designs interiors and curates and directs the exhibition space Cantine di Palazzo Rava in Ravenna, where her studio is located.

Chiara also works as interior architect for the Italian construction company, whose investments are in eighteenth-century building to provide the spaces with a new life and commercial purpose.

In 2018 Chiara has started her own project, Fornice Objects , looking beyond the conventional and probes, questioning and exploreing how one can, should or wants to shape the future. It uses technology that’s rapid, repeatable and rigorous to make bold yet ethereal statements. Each piece is slowly crafted with machinery and hands, silently negotiating two contradictory elements.

She is a guest lecturer at Alma Mater Studiorum University in Bologna for the Bachelor degree course of Product Design.
