Karpeta, OR.NAMI, Texturae

For the first time at the Salone del Mobile from 8 to 13 April,

Materika will be present, the union of three brands that interpret beauty, sustainability and

made in Italy craftsmanship. Texturae presents extraordinary wallpapers,

Karpeta, with innovatively designed carpets made with fine materials and

unique artisan techniques and Or.nami, known for its creative concepts of

360-degree surface coverings. The three brands offer a unique

material-visual experience, available to architects and designers to transform

spaces into emotional and stylish places.

Texturae presents Romance, by Sara Ricciardi studio, as a graphic creation but with internal direction and brief. The project is inspired by Romanticism, an

artistic and cultural movement that celebrated emotion, expressive freedom and a deep connection with nature. Through the delicate

watercolor technique, the collection interprets in a contemporary way the

central themes of this movement, such as the search for a lost paradise, the

fascination for the past and mystery, and the desire to affirm authentic and timeless

values. The light and fluid brush strokes create evocative compositions,

transmitting a sense of nostalgia and dream. The enchanting beauty of the

paintings, made with meticulous attention to detail, recalls the

atmospheres of en plein air painting, typical of romantic artists. With Romance,

Texturae transforms spaces into places of poetry and suggestion, giving life

to a sophisticated and timeless aesthetic.

Karpeta presents Collage by Sans Nom, a collection inspired by the art of

collage, reinterpreting it in a textile dimension with eight rugs inspired by the

natural pigments of the earth, with a palette of warm and earthy tones such as ochre,

terracotta, brown and sand. The fusion of soft shades such as beige and dusty grey with intense colours such as rust red and dark brown creates a perfect balance between strength and serenity. Each rug is a unique composition that, with a play of contrasts between soft textures, sculpted sections, three-dimensional details and shapes that seem like recomposed fragments, communicates a rooted and organic atmosphere and adds warmth and a feeling of stability to spaces, expressing a balance between craftsmanship and formal research.

Or.nami presents CONCEPT, born from a collaboration between Or.nami and

Otto Studio. A new project that offers innovative moodboards to

support designers and architects in the creation of unique environments. Based on

a selection of stylistically different worlds, the project harmoniously

integrates materials such as: curtains, wallpapers, customizable parquet, lava

stones, ceramics, wall coverings such as digital wallpapers and new high-quality natural material covering supports.

The range is also enriched with carpets and rugs made with Italian yarns, an expression of artisanal excellence. Or.nami thus continues its path of innovation, offering versatile solutions for spaces with a strong visual and emotional impact. Or.nami announces the exhibition of two items from the collection at Palazzo Bovara, including a sisal wallpaper that is completely embroidered and created by Patricia Urquiola. The embroidery reproduces an exclusive design for the occasion. The exhibition will cover three large walls, offering great visibility to the work. For the flooring, the protagonist will be a creation in natural striped and flamed oak, with laser engravings of subjects created by Patricia Urquiola, using American walnut and maple for a refined contrast. A perfect example of a fusion between tradition and innovation, which enhances the elegance and quality of Or.nami creations.
