WEM Gallery was born from an artist residency program inside the MEW - Magistris & Wetzel Spa factory in Ornavasso (VB). The project was promoted by Marco Bracaglia, an entrepreneur and shareholder of the factory who, starting in 2017, began inviting artists to produce artworks inside the factory, using its technical production know-how. In 2021, WEM was established, an art gallery 3.0 that aims to promote contemporary art and expand artistic fruition internationally through an innovative approach that revolutionizes the market dynamics. WEM currently collaborates with artists Chiara Dynys, Daniele Sigalot, Pennacchio Argentato and TTOZOI. The gallery has already realized numerous exhibition projects in important cultural institutions and museums including Scuderie del Quirinale, Rome (2024); Museo Fortuny, Venice (2023) La Galleria Nazionale, Rome (2022); Colosseum, Rome (2022); MA*GA Museum, Gallarate (2022); Villa and Panza Collection, Varese (2021).
