Taking this excerpt as a reference, in her curatorial text Lorella Giudici, critic and art historian explains: "The volume written by Monica Gorini is the diary of a research that began in Paris in 2018. A journey that began from the places experienced by Claude Monet: Etretat, Honfleur, Le Havre and finally Giverny. A long, geographic and artistic journey full of emotions, images, research and discoveries enclosed between the pages of the volume in an engaging, fresh, immediate narrative, rich in cultural and human references."

There are two significant places where the author has made her chromatic studies: La Fondation et Maison Claude Monet, in Normandy with the Giverny basin and the Latour Marliac Nursery in Le Temple sur Lot, where at the end of the nineteenth century were hybridized  the first colored varieties of "Nénuphars" .

Monica Gorini tells how in the thousands of palettes painted en plein air she has fixed "Invisible Moments" where the Infinite opens itself, enclosing landscapes that touch the myth of paradise with clouds, sudden flashes on the water, iridescent petals but also synesthetic and emotional perceptions.

Then, in the studio on Lake Orta, the artist interprets, synthesizes, designs and organizes her personal view of Nature, painted in France, in linear, clean, rigorous sculptures in which she removes the superfluous to show the essence of form and color.

Natural materials such as wood and wax dialogue with steel and mirror, chosen to amplify the views to infinity. Then colored and backlit Plexiglas, neon and LEDs to emphasize the emotional, perceptive and poetic role of light, progenitor of all visions.

Gorini's sculptures are fragments of a Whole. Geometric and colored constructions and deconstructions aimed at celebrating relationships, similarities, correspondences in which Nature, Wunderkammer ante litteram, manifests varied and wonderful scenarios.

The artist, who has lived in foreign cities such as London, San Francisco and Paris, now lives between Milan and Lake Orta.
