This project was born, like all Eliana's works, following the paradigm of the varied series.
Unique pieces for color, size, decorations and small formal differences. A collection of vases with a soft, sinuous surface, delicately marked by chromatic presences.
In the eighties, after an encounter with Kyoto ceramics, she chose a small vase with an uncertain shape. The charm of the wabi sabi aesthetic based on the acceptance of the transience of things. And so, shaping ceramics in Dario's workshop and decorating with the skill of Clara Biagi, Amorfi vases originated: from the tension for sculpture and archetypal but fluid forms.
The vases are entirely handmade in Albissola with Dario Bevilacqua www.ceramichepierluca.it
