MOS design

MOS design

MOS design was born in 1999 from the encounter between Sara Chiarugi and Michele Morandi. Two different sensibilities linked by a strong artistic dna that they transfer to the manufacture of sophisticated and versatile furnishings, made at km 0 in their atelier in Rome.

Since the beginning, decor has been for MOS design the key to a refined aesthetic investigation that identifies the brand's hallmark in the imprint. Trace and three-dimensional relief are the characters that transform the surface of tables, bookcases, panels and accessories into an identity story, making it unique through references to the avant-garde of the twentieth century, African art, punk and fashion.

Sara is a creative designer and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome with a background in fashion, from Romeo Gigli to Tom Ford via Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci and Fendi.

Michele is a product designer with an artisanal approach and a very strong vocation for custom. Their most recent collection, Identità tangibili, is inspired by the theme of conviviality and will be on display in Milan, from April 18th to the 23rd, during the design week, at the Rubin Gallery in via Santa Marta 10, in the 5Vie area.
