Our brand
“Wood oriented” for more than three decades. In so few words the summary of a man who turned a great passion into a successful enterprise. High quality handcraft, free from strictly commercial purposes, deep-rooted in the popular culture of the valley he belongs.
These are the roots of Haute Material: a company where architects and designers can work in team, staying in touch with the supply chain, in order to provide to our customers the result of such a great awareness.

Our wood
The undisputed know-how about wood is the real common thread that binds all the souls of the Haute Material project. The restoration of old and valuable wood (fir, larch and oak in particular) is a patented process, characterizing the brand from the beginning.
Then our proposal has been enriched with heat treated woods, that are improved in their mechanical qualities and take on new characteristics. Additional phases of research and development have allowed us to develop processes of burning, charring, natural oxidation, up to the latest mass coloration (Harborica®) thus giving rise to more and more exclusive materials now featuring Haute Material.
Many and various surface finishes create high-impact material textures, enhancing the natural as well as heat treated woods.

Our products
Haute Material products are unique pieces, obtained by ancient and rare woods, manufactured with mastery and craftsmanship.
Manufacturing is handmade by Valtellina’s master furnishers, with a meticolous attention on every detail : wood is chosen with skill and expertise, hands working on it are lead by love and respect for the material and for the memory it holds inside.
The collection - continuously updated - includes tables, chairs, bookcases, accessories, furnishings, paneling, kitchen, bedroom and living room. All products in the catalog are projects by designers who have been able to express the identity of the brand with choices of great value.

Our tailor-made realizations
Not only a brand focused on products, Haute Material is also a company providing solutions - both in manufacturing and in design - tailored for the private customers and also for larger commissions.
In residential or office/retail realizations, our skills support both the end user and the professional, for interior design as well as for outdoors, with an all-round, conceptual design, taking the most effective decisions.

Our initiatives
Over the years we have taken part in important Italian and international events: at the Artecasa in Lugano as well as at the Sustainabitaly in New York, at the Designer Block in London as well as at the Hem & Villa in Stockholm or at the Design Show in Dubai, and in many other exhibitions and fairs including various editions of the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
