The Association Giacimenti Urbani, founded on the principles of cooperation, respect for the environment, the territory and people, aims to develop the Circuit of virtuous activities to facilitate and connect subjects that play an active role in the promotion of sustainable living, through the correct use of energy, waste reduction, soft mobility and all lifestyles consistent with this objective.
Fundamental elements are the use of renewable energy and energy efficiency, the culture of reduction, reuse, repair, preparation for reuse and recycling, as well as all ideas and projects that reduce the production of CO2, combating climate change and promoting social cohesion.
The Giacimenti Urbani project is the brainchild of Donatella Pavan, a professional journalist since 1998 who has been involved in the dissemination of sustainable culture for 15 years. She is one of the bloggers of the Ambienti&Veleni section of Il Fatto Quotidiano, writes for Tuttogreen-La Stampa, has followed the Econews for Elle, the Milan page of Terra, the econews of Atcasa, the Good news of Case Abitare, and collaborates with Dweb, Ddi Repubblica and many other newspapers on these issues. He is passionate about the Terra universe and has a good knowledge of the protagonists of the green economy and renewables.
