These are the traits that define the collection of lamps and furnishing accessories by Radar Interior, an Italian-French brand that has given life to a production capable of capturing the instances of contemporaneity by translating them into pieces with sober and timeless lines, always traced with a glance towards the rigorous design of 20th century design Masters, but with an authentic touch of inventiveness, which makes each piece truly unique. Founded in 2016, the brand immediately turned into the centre of attention with the press and in elite locations around the world. It is a perfect combination of the entrepreneurial spirit and vision of the two founding partners: Francesca Bertini and Bastien Taillard. Bertini, who graduated in international business management from Milan’s Bocconi University and can boast significant experience in sales and marketing, handles the brand’s strategic marketing. Taillard, who was born into a family of creatives and trained at ENSCI (National School of Industrial Creation) in Paris, is determined to construct a collection that is as composed as it is surprising, creative, and consistent. So much so that he personally designed all the products in the catalogue until 2021, the year in which Radar Interior, with its unique identity, decided to open up towards the contamination and comparison with other designers - first and foremost Samuel Accoceberry.
Designed to explore the possibilities of materials - in particular, glass, metal, brass, and marble - all pieces are handcrafted in Europe by expert craftsmen. From the quarries of Carrara marble to the Parisian forging workshops, from Milan to the Haut-Marnaise forests, Radar Interior explores the territory in search of excellence. The geographic proximity of the producers allows the company to keep quality and delivery times under control, the materials chosen are of the highest quality and their intrinsic beauty is enhanced by traditional workmanship.
In addition to its extensive catalogue, Radar Interior offers a customization service that allows standard products to be adapted to specific needs, or produces custom pieces in limited series.
