Leonardo Pagliazzi Falegname

Leonardo Pagliazzi is a Florentine carpenter and designer. After the technical maturity in commercial and computer sciences and having spent a few years working in the entertainment and events sector in 2006 he decides to return to his passion: carpentry. Initially working for private projects, then specializing in Retail. And it is in this way that in the period 2013/2017 he becomes, through a contracting company, one of the managers of the retail outfitting for Prada. Among others he deals with thosein 5th street and Broadway in Manhattan, in Red Square in Moscow, in Alberni street Vancouver, at the Microsoft headquarters in Seattle, on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills and at the Dubai Mall.

At that time he touched the four corners of the planet and returned to Italy enriched by the experience and working proximity with artisans of many and different cultural backgrounds.

In 2017 he decides to change brand starting a new adventure with Agresti, world leader in jewelery furniture, furniture for safes and armored rooms. With Agresti he takes care of the setting up of the “Salone del Mobile di Milano” in Shanghai and of the private setting up of the armored rooms. Finally in 2019 he opens a company with his name, with which he deals, above all, with designing and building unique pieces for interior design.

Its concept of design and production overturns the classic one, where materials are at the service of design. For him, on the other hand, it is the material that shows us what we must do with it, respecting its shapes, textures, surfaces. There is a balance, also aesthetic, that must lead us to respect it for how it is born, develops and reaches the end of its life cycle.

It is his first time at Design Week, where he presents the NUVOLE project.
