Stefano Robiglio

Artist

Stefano Robiglio was born in Acqui Terme - Piedmont - in January 1988. Forging metal has always appealed him. With great passion and commitment he pursued his interest and - completely as an autodidact - he became an artist blacksmith.

Stefano considers every product of his work as unique and exclusive - from the more traditional gates or railings, to the more artistic sculptures and décor pieces. They originates from a devoted research between past and present, when the hammer quickly strokes the white-hot metal in the short moment when it is ready to be molded.

In this virtual society we live in, Stefano strongly believes in the tight relationship between art and craftsmanship, by trying to rediscover and elevate the human dimension and all that a man is able to create with his hands. His favorite subjects are nature and the female figure. Women, Love and Nature - extremely current topics nowadays - have always been connected to our existence.

According to Stefano, art is essentially bond to visual emotions. Consequently, esthetically beautiful works, which attract the audience, have to match with ideas, feelings and themes the artist is willing to convey, instead of obsessively pursuing the new to the detriment of beauty.
