Warwick Perrin

Designer

Warwick’s practice is built around a discovery of unique textures derived from organic forms. Through enlargement they mutate into something else entirely. Warwick’s ideas are brought to realisation via a fascination with 3D printing and scanning technologies. The minute mechanical movements of the 3D printer invoke a rippling landscape surface with aesthetics similar to the contour lines of a topographic map.

Completing a Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) at RMIT, Warwick developed his creative process using digital technology and rapid prototyping techniques. Casting bronze sculptures requires a high level of technical expertise in a specialist environment, a career which Warwick has had the privilege of being part of since 2004. With an accumulation of knowledge developed through hands on experience, Warwick continues to research and develop new horizons of bronze casting in his Art & Design.
