Furnishings and objects made entirely by hand in Natural Bronze using the lost-wax casting technique. Pieces that are one-of-a-kind, just like the forms found in nature from which they are inspired. Meticulous strokes that are true to life, dynamic textures and sinuous contours fused in perfect synergy and eloquence.
All of Osanna’s pieces are fused in bronze at an Italian art foundry using the lost-wax casting process, one of the oldest known metal-forming techniques dating back 6,000 years.
This ancient process uses a negative form in which molten metal is cast. An initial wax sculpture is used to create a plaster mould. The wax dries away in furnaces at a temperature of 650° C, leaving the negative it has etched out to be filled with liquid bronze for casting.
The wax model, which Osanna kneads and sculpts by hand, is the defining element of her creations.
Osanna never stops creating. Always in perpetual motion, her home doubles as a workshop where she invents everything herself, from the definitively small to the infinitely large, weaving her own universe as she goes. International likewise is her clientele, who surround the Milanese Atelier in a collective gathering sui generis.
