ALMA WATER – The Sea Room

ALMA WATER is a room of the sea, an immersive environment that transports us into the liquid heart of
Sardinia. A sound device, like a maternal womb, guiding us through the Costa Smeralda.
The space comes alive with the continuous movement of large silk bellies.
The fabrics, suspended and moved by breaths of air, ripple like the surface of the sea, generating a fluid
and enveloping choreography.
ALMA WATER is a sonic pavilion that evokes the power of the ocean.
Inside, the drums of the sea become participatory instruments, surfaces to be activated together in order to
compose a grand concert of waves and undertows.
Through the movement of the drums, visitors bring to life a collective score made of deep resonances and
vibrations that recall the crashing and retreating of water along the shore.
Each individual action contributes to a shared composition, as in the natural landscape, where every
element plays a part in the harmony of the whole.
The project is a tribute to Sardinia, to its primordial and sacred dimension, to the ancestral relationship
between body and water, where everything is generated.
ALMA WATER celebrates turquoise as a beneficial emotional and chromatic state.
Within the context of Milan Design Week 2026, The Sea Room presents itself as a space for pause and
immersion, where sound becomes a communal gesture.
A dance of water dedicated to Sardinia, in which the sea is not only observed: it is listened to, traversed,
and created together.
