Studio Pietrachiara

PIETRACHIARA returns to 5VIE district with its first lighting piece: the Stardust lamp, carrying the studio’s approach to material, process, and imperfection into light. 

Conceived in close dialogue with Italian artisans, the lamp follows the same philosophy that defines the studio’s furniture and objects: untreated materials, visible process, and surfaces shaped by time.

The design is reduced to a striking gesture: a suspended aluminium disc pierced at its centre by a glass sphere that appears to hover weightlessly. 

The light source is held within this transparent core, while the disc floats in space, anchored by the thinnest of wires. 

When illuminated, the composition recalls celestial bodies in slow orbit, bringing a quiet sense of movement and depth to the room.
