Officinanove presents a selection of projects that interpret design as a discreet and enduring
presence. Within this vision, metal becomes a bearer of messages, values, and details, capable
over time of constructing a silent dialogue between objects, space, and people, where a body of
productive knowledge generates different design resonances.
From the hand of Antonio Norero come Flintstone, a family of low tables that plays with primitive
balances and controlled disproportions, and Circolo, a wall-mounted coat rack with archetypal
naturalness, expressing an idea of furniture that reveals its value over time. Alongside these is
Capitanuncino, a system of modular shelves hooked onto a metal truss, conceived as an open
and reconfigurable infrastructure, able to adapt to different uses and to evolve over time through
interaction with space and with those who inhabit it.
Badessa, designed by Celia, Miccoli, and Pagano in collaboration with Antonio Norero, and Tòrre,
conceived by Celia, Miccoli, and Pagano, further explore the relationship between material,
function, and contemporary living: a lamp that investigates the curvature of stone as a poetic
gesture, and an open, versatile, and replicable object, capable of evolving with spaces and people.
A coherent set of projects that restores design to its most authentic role: to be useful, quiet, and
necessary.
