During Milano Design Week, the Anotherview team proudly presents Bar Altra Vista at Le Caval-

lerizze, a captivating former stable located within the 5VIE district. Conceived as a natural exten-

sion of Trattoria Altra Vista, this concept expands upon last year’s pilot project at Palazzo Litta,

enhancing its experiential and communicative dimensions. Future editions in New York and

Dubai will position Bar Altra Vista as the focal point of daytime activities—not just a bar, but a

dynamic space for talks, presentations, and cultural gatherings, all within a welcoming and convivial atmosphere.

Bar Altra Vista is also an installation of refined Italian design. Guests stepping inside are immersed in the quintessential ambiance of an Italian bar, where ordering a spritz is a ritual, games unfold around a finely crafted Hermelin billiard table, and lively conversations fill the air. Music provides the perfect backdrop to savor an authentic yet sophisticated slice of Italian lifestyle, complemented by exquisite drinks and cuisine amidst the vibrant energy of Milan Design Week.

This venue is a place of shared stories, familiar yet elevated by contemporary, curated design.

By day, Bar Altra Vista serves as a hub for gatherings and presentations. By night, as the crowds dissipate, it transforms into an exclusive venue for private events, featuring "Tavola Calda"—a curated series of exceptional dining experiences by Aldo Ritrovato in collaboration with Monte-fiori Milano, set in the now serene and evocative Cavallerizze spaces.

The project is the brainchild of a team of Italian designers and artists, including Anotherview,

Andrea Mancuso of Analogia Project, Duilio Forte, Simone Fanciullacci, Matteo Di Ciommo,

Benedetta Mori Ubaldini, Andrea Zambelli, Constantino Gucci, and Tonino Negri. Bar Altra Vista offers a distinctive and immersive experience, unfolding across multiple artistic expressions: Studio F will preview two pieces from their inaugural collection by Simone Fanciullacci; the bar’s walls will feature select works from Duilio Forte’s "Lupus in Fabula" project; a dining area, designed in collaboration with street artist Sorte, will be entrusted to Chef Aldo Ritrovato of Stadera Milano; and Anotherview will present "Memory of a Travel," an exclusive project created for the British luggage company Globe-Trotter.

For this year’s exhibition, the Anotherview team collaborated with artist and architect Duilio Forte to reimagine the space within Cavallerizze as the stylized belly of a whale. Crafted from wooden beams, this structure defines an intimate yet open environment, preserving the site’s original charm and grandeur. These sculptural elements create imaginary walls adorned with photographs and memories of shared journeys, while an invisible ceiling suspends luminous bodies designed by the Spanish duo Mayice Studio, orchestrating the installation’s lighting.

Bar Altra Vista is a meeting point between tradition and innovation, oering a unique experience that celebrates design, art, gastronomy, and the warmth of Italian conviviality.
