“Nothing New to Invent” will be the title of the event held during Fuorisalone 2025, an exhibition dedicated to the “I Tondi” chandelier, designed by Carlo Nason in collaboration with the international design studio S20M.
The event is a tribute to Carlo Nason, a “successful unknown” who worked from the 1960s to the late 1990s, creating extraordinary glass chandeliers that seamlessly combine the centuries-old craftsmanship of Murano glassmakers with the industrial production boom of that era.
During Fuorisalone 2025, we will present “I Tondi”, a new collection of chandeliers designed by Carlo Nason in collaboration with S20M, an international design studio based in Milan and New York. This project stems from a long-standing relationship with Nason and the reworking
of previously unseen sketches that had remained in the Maestro’s archives for years.
The “I Tondi” chandeliers, produced by Glass&Glass, stand out for their elegant simplicity, inspired by the modular circular shape of the glass plates that compose them, blending aesthetics and innovation in a refined reinterpretation of glass design.
In the stunning setting of the Cavallerizze, a limited edition “I Tondi” column, specially designed for the occasion by S20M, will be exhibited—a unique piece that celebrates the dialogue between the past and the future of glass design.
