Via San Maurilio, 14

As part of the twelfth edition of 5VIE Design Week and within the Fuori Salone 2025, Paula Seegy
Gallery will host "THE WALL", a collection of interwoven metal objects, natural fibers, and
mirrored glass, presented by Mario Trimarchi.
THE WALL
Objects turn into things, asserting their aesthetic dominance within our homes.
Tired of being mistreated, piled up, moved around, and used inconsistently—recklessly
even—they drift toward the margins. They abandon the center of the room, the middle of tables
and coffee tables, breaking free from their banal identity as mere decorative items, retreating
to the walls. From various heights, they breathe more freely and finally look at us: amused by our
ceaseless rushing, our arguments, our loves, our fleeting and profound thoughts. And every now
and then, they sigh. Leaning against the wall, they silently remind us that we will pass—while they
will remain.
