A Dialogue Between Tableware and Nature

For Milan Design Week, Laboratorio Paravicini and Mary Lennox join forces to present

a unique project where tableware and nature intertwine, drawing inspiration from the

geometry and volumes of the Italian garden.

“Jardins à l’Italienne” evokes a metaphysical atmosphere in which vegetation sheds its

spontaneity to become architecture. Rhythm and rigor shape the space, revealing scenic

backdrops in a suspended, timeless landscape. As each plate is placed, the table

transforms into a garden unfolding in delicate ceramics.

Curated by the renowned international studio Mary Lennox, the installation elevates the

courtyard into an immersive artwork, constructing walls of greenery and hyper-realistic

volumes. Small openings in the lush vegetation invite the gaze into a seemingly infinite

perspective, enclosed within the historical walls of a Milanese courtyard.

This collaboration between Laboratorio Paravicini and Mary Lennox brings together

craftsmanship and botanical artistry, creating an enchanting fusion of design and nature.
