Via Cesare Correnti, 14

The Flat-Massimo Carasi gallery is pleased to collaborate with 5vie by presenting the works of Iranian artist Hiva ALIZADEH (1989, Kerman, Iran) at its location in via Cesare Correnti 14.
The combination of tradition and contemporary aesthetics creates a world of visual and emotional contrasts, especially thanks to the materials used to deconstruct the age-old concept of the Persian carpet: through the use of colorful synthetic hair, the artist gives body to a stratification of pictorial glazes that reveal themselves to the viewer during interaction with the work.
Always committed to the attempt to bring together painting and sculpture in a single body, Hiva works on suspension and weightlessness, creating visual and tactile vibrations.
Spectators will find impalpable blades of fire towering over Fluid vertical masses of water: the greatest contrast known on Earth, the most disruptive but at the same time vital forces, two opposites that meet to create Harmony: water and fire.
