The exhibition, curated by Giovanni Pelloso, entitled "Le temps retrouvé" brings together thirty photographic works from a project that is still open and documents what he himself has defined as a "sociological testimony of our passage on Earth". A passage that Laboile has decided to mark by portraying the joys and sorrows of his six children growing up in an old house in the countryside near Bordeaux, where the children, far from the mechanisms and influences of modern consumerism, are free to play in the open air.
Alain Laboile's new book, entitled "Summer of the Fawn" published by Kehrer and edited by Laurence Kiberlain, already presented at Paris Photo 2018 in the Books section, will also be available during the exhibition opening.
