Reshaping Craftsmanship

From April 17th to the 23rd, "Reshaping Craftsmanship" will open its doors at Via Santa Marta 10. This concept store, launched by TA-DAAN, celebrates contemporary craftsmanship and the talents of young creatives. Located in the 5Vie district, known for its connection to craftsmanship, visitors will have the opportunity to fully experience the workshop through show-crafting performances organized by the Milanese startup.

TA-DAAN is a community-based e-commerce platform dedicated to contemporary craftsmanship, promoting and supporting the incredible work of young talented artisans. The TA-DAAN Shop brings the typically offline world of artisans online and makes it accessible worldwide. The handmade product selection, carefully curated by the startup, is contemporary, cool, and sustainable. The slow and ethical production of these products makes them a valuable investment for both clients and the planet.

Initially born as a digital magazine in 2020, TA-DAAN has become an international leader on social media, with a community of over 200k people interested in craftsmanship, creativity, and sustainability. The startup's main objective is to actively sustain and support the new generation of craftsmen through storytelling and content creation. More and more young people are approaching hand-crafting, both as producers and consumers, attracted by its slower and more sustainable approach to production.

At the highly-anticipated first TA-DAAN event during Milan Design Week, visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artisans behind the TA-DAAN selection. These artisans will present their products in person, giving visitors a firsthand look at their creative and productive process. Artisans specializing in different techniques, from pottery to jewelry making and tufting, will give life to their products before visitors' eyes, making them an integral part of their creations.
