Officine Silentio

Silentio is the brand of Luca, a long-time textile fashion designer.
The concept was born from the passion and falling in love with Puglia: the colors, the contrasts, the
décontracté style is what inspired Luca: first of all he designed home products to dress and decorate his
ancient Masseria with Trulli.
Receiving immediately great feedback by all the guests, he then extended to the apparel and accessories
collections and opened his first concept store, Officine Silentio in Ostuni. The brand is also distributed in
few other selected stores in Italy and Europe.
Designed in Italy but realized in different parts of the world, such as India, Japan, Mexico, Colombia,
Vietnam, Uzbekistan and of course Italy (and Puglia!), Silentio products offer a journey around the world in
search of ancient and precious processing and printing techniques that Luca has finely researched, working
with small local artisans and entrusting them with small productions, without the anxiety of chasing large
numbers.
For the home collection Luca worked with local Apulian artisans for ceramics and with Indian artisans for
the home textiles.
Mixing the savoir faire of these two lands so far away, but so fascinating and rich of history and traditions
was very interesting and the result is a very warm home collection full of personality.
