In Metropolitan Jungle, the artist and designer Angela Florio represents with an installation

a dreamlike vision of artistic and craft professions that are hidden by the movement of
today's cities, which with their frenetic and distracted rhythms incorporate all that is history
and culture of the newspaper. The craft of the craftsman is one of the professions that in
the metropolitan city disappears almost by magic, and outside its context of place such as
the shop, it has a large jungle around it.

By definition, the craftsman spans the epochs with contemporary technologies and is
represented here by a digital wallpaper, which the artist designer Angela Florio composes,
creates and produces. This wallpaper is made up of tiles, which are the reworking of
material by the artisans of the 5Vie circuit, with a metaphysical and surrealist vision. This is
how animals, plants and typical shapes of the jungle appear, built entirely by hand by
DecorAzione®, which has always created what it invents.
This magic makes each room unique, as unique is the installation at Lo Studio in via San
Maurilio 11 by Beatrice Petriccione di Vadi, a reference point for style and for an
inexhaustible mine of ideas and suggestions for the interior design and furnishings of the

5-way neighborhood. Metropolitan Jungle is part of the ManifatturalMente project
conceived and created by the artist designer Angela Florio of DecorAzione®, exhibiting for
the first time during Milan Design 2020 with a Tapestry representing the artistic part. The
Tapestry will be exhibited concurrently during Design Week 2021 at s-h-m, Show-hub-
milan, via Morimondo 2/3, an intercultural research space with an innovative concept that
develops interactions between fashion, design, culture and art.
