Stamperia Bertozzi has been producing hand-printed fabrics since 1920. The historical collections encapsulate the entire Romagna tradition of hand-printing on fabric with the classic Acanthus, Birds, Roosters and Vine motifs. These decorations are a local heritage of history as they are icons of a territory and a bygone past. The blocks of pear wood, still the original ones hand-carved by Grandfather Luigi Bertozzi, are still used for the most classic productions, keeping alive the flavour of that fascinating history.
The fabrics most commonly used are strictly composed of natural fibres, such as linen, mixed linen or cotton of various consistencies depending on the different uses. It is also possible to produce made-to-measure items, or to print directly onto the fabric that the customer entrusts to the Stamperia.
The latest ideas and collaborations with designers and draughtsmen have given rise to new patterns and decorations.
The contemporary collections are the result of constant and continuous work on tradition but also of interpretations and ideas from all over the world. Over the last decade, the Stamperia has seen the growth of its collections in which different styles and unexpected colours come together to create unique and original products.
