LA RIVOLUZIONE SIAMO NOI, curated by Alberto Fiz, organized by the Foundation of Piacenza and Vigevano, under the patronage of MiBACT - Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism, of the Emilia-Romagna Region, with an exhibition design by Michele De Lucchi and AMDL CIRCLE and the scientific advice of the Polo Territoriale di Mantova of the Politecnico di Milano, presents over 150 works, including paintings, sculptures, photographs, videos and installations by authors such as Piero Manzoni, Lucio Fontana, Paul McCarthy, Sislej Xhafa, Sophie Calle, Joseph Kosuth, Giuseppe Penone, Michelangelo Pistoletto, Marina Abramović, Tomás Saraceno, Sol LeWitt, Andy Warhol, Bill Viola, Dan Flavin, coming from 18 art collections, among the most important in Italy, which transversally investigate contemporary movements, styles and trends.

The initiative is completed at the Galleria d'Arte Moderna Ricci Oddi - whose premises are adjacent to those of XNL - where a series of works by artists including Ettore Spalletti, Wolfgang Laib, Fabio Mauri, Mike Nelson, Mimmo Jodice, Pietro Roccasalva, dialogue with the masterpieces of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, collected by the entrepreneur and collector Giuseppe Ricci Oddi from Piacenza, which is a fundamental model of reference.

The exhibition documents the phenomenon of collecting in its entirety through the events of over fifty years. What emerges is a great collective fresco, a 'collection of collections', as Alberto Fiz says, linked to the passion and taste of our time, which allows the visitor to enter an extraordinary private museum, full of surprises, ordered by the curator who has established a relationship of complicity with collectors, free from any self-referential temptation.
