Progetto Bora Museum

The Magazzino dei Venti - Progetto Bora Museum in Trieste is the space of wind and fantasy. It is the laboratory, the showcase of an idea: that of creating the Bora and Wind Museum in Trieste. A "museum in progress" to become familiar with the project, in an intimate and collected dimension. A small documentation center, where you can discover books and wind curiosities of Trieste (such as the famous bora ropes) and the world (for example the pindekan of Bali).


On display also winds near and far (Progetto Centoventi). The Warehouse of the Winds of Trieste hosts three sections: the Archive of the Bora Museum, consisting of a small library and audiovisual and multimedia materials; the Archive of the Polli family, which preserves different materials collected by a great scholar of the bora, Professor Silvio Polli; the Archive of the Winds of the World, which includes an amusing collection of winds from various geographical areas in customized containers (now more than 300).
