Kate Banazi

A series of works based around life drawings and portraits of friends. Slowly the key lines are pulled from the drawings to create a series of silkscreen prints and from there they are reduced further to create the shapes and compositions to return to 3D, into the sculptural compositions. 

"I am interested in how these pieces interact together, how the light hits the sculptures and cast shadows and shapes that can never be predicted and ever changing."
