In Riccardo Marino's still lifes, objects are not inanimate decorative elements but protagonists of a dialogue of shapes and colors.
Decontextualized and isolated in their spatial location, they assume a metaphysical dimension.
In these shots the author evokes, in their rough and ascetic syntax, the darkness and silence of the Spanish bodegones and the harmoniously symmetrical arrangement of the elements, recalls the most classic still life tradition.
