Steve McCurry is one of the greatest masters of contemporary photography, as well as a reference point for a wide audience that identifies his lens as one of the most infallible tools for reading the dynamics of our time.

Steve McCurry. Icons curated by Biba Giacchetti presents, for the first time in the Veneto region, a selection of over 100 photographs, capable of providing a complete representation of his particular style and his exclusive aesthetic vision. The exhibition path will accompany the visitor to discover his talent, with images of great emotional impact and sure fascination. The exhibition has the ambition to shed light on the many artistic and reportage experiences of the great photographer: starting from the first historical trips to India and then to Afghanistan where Steve McCurry had the opportunity to follow the Mujaheddin at the time of the war against Russia, when access to the country was forbidden to Western visitors. Just from Afghanistan comes Sharbat Gula, the girl made famous by the front page of National Geographic and known by the photographer in the refugee camp of Peshawar in Pakistan.
