Michele Perlini

Architect

Michele Perlini graduated in Sustainable Architecture from the IUAV University of Venice in
2007. Since 2005, he has been working at the family studio in Verona, founded in 1974. He attended
CasaClima courses from 2006 to 2009, obtaining the qualification of CasaClima Expert Consultant.
Currently, he focuses on architectural, urban, and landscape projects that integrate typological and
technological innovations with a strong emphasis on environmental, energy, and economic
sustainability. 

Among his works, notable ones include the first CasaClima “A Nature” Conservation
Restoration in Italy and the first CasaClima “Welcome,” a luxury hotel designed in an Italian historic
center. He has won numerous awards, including the finalist award at the Architizers in New York 2019
and 2024, finalist at the Iconic Awards in Munich in the innovative architecture category in the years
2018-19-20, nominated at the Golden Trezzini Awards for best residential architecture, finalist at The
Plan Awards and the Loop Design Awards.Michele is also the creator of Smart House®, a model of
sustainable homes certified CasaClima, and has developed the first international prototype of a
sustainable Farnsworth House. He has contributed columns on sustainable architecture to industry
magazines and has participated as a CasaClima expert consultant at national conferences.
