The Eliurpi studio, formed by the duo Elisabet Urpí and Nacho Umpiérrez, works in Barcelona's historic Borne district on the reinterpretation of the traditional craft technique of sombrerería, the manufacture of Spanish hats. The result is a production poised between design, art and fashion, of minimal elegance and contemporary language, opening new perspectives for the material culture of the past.
