In 2021 Mercedes Salazar, Colombian designer of extraordinary jewelry and objects whom has placed artistic fecundity, poetic imagination and respect for the craftsman’s skill at the heart of her work and Serena Cancellier, Italian fashion designer who design objects that, as she likes to say, “get a marvelous reaction”, together founded Casa Remedios.
“Casa Remedios is a place that exists in our imagination, it is a parallel world called Macondo. In this house there are living the creative spirits of two women who join each other to bring their ideas to life. Serena and Mercedes are sharing love for ancestral and traditional arts and techniques, for them materials are the thread of imagination.
Their drawings tell the history of an alliance that aims to bring a little magic to the world”.
