LAM Ceramica

Originally from New York City, Venice based ceramist Michele Hickey-Gemin combines the techniques of wheel throwing and hand building to create functional ware that is minimal and sculptural in design.
Michele received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Fashion Institute of Technology in NYC, but it was while living in Krakow, Poland that Michele started to work in ceramics. After moving to Venice, Italy in 2015, she opened her Studio LAM Ceramica.
