ARSBE by Luisa Grasso

designer

My name is Luisa Grasso, I am from south Italy.

I studied architecture at the University of Naples Federico II, enriching my degree with a Master in Bio Architecture from the Lumsa University of Rome.

In 2012 I began my experience in Belgium, founding the Arsbe architecture studio in Brussels. This acronym summarises my Latin origin, ARS (from the Latin ars - artis meaning activity tending towards creation) and my adopted country BE (initials of the word Belgium).

I have always sought the uniqueness of each project by designing tailor-made products and trying to bring together creative work and craftsmanship. My world, my origins guide me in the choice of workmanship that recalls ancient skills and originality lost in time that today, thanks to technology, can be enriched and known. Elegance is my prerogative, a balance between proportions, emotion and surprise.

The Imma screen, the Claas lamp and the Arca table are part of my first collection of furniture entitled MEMORIES.

A latest creation is the table “ MECCANO”.
