Garance Vallée

Designer

Garance Vallèe was born in Paris in 1993. She lives and works in Paris.

Daughter of art, she grew up in the painting studio of her father KRIKI - famous exponent of French Street Art in the eighties - between colors and punk music, it is here that she began to draw and build objects since childhood. A young talent with an eclectic and experimental language, he draws inspiration from contemporary art and architecture, translating his research into a sophisticated symbolic universe suspended between reality and utopia. In the course of her life, a decisive moment was her meeting in New York with the Italian architect Ada Tolla, which led her to formulate her own stylistic vocabulary. Her work is characterized by a great plurality, from architecture to scenography, from drawing to sculpture, passing through the design of objects. Starting from the drawing, she imagines original architectural scenes that sometimes lead to the production of concrete and plaster objects cast in layers and then painted with natural pigments. Garance Vallée creates unique pieces with a touch of elegance and contemporary romanticism, creating a multifaceted personal universe with Mediterranean and ancient influences.
