The Italian Cultural Institute of Hong
Kong is part of a network of over 80 Italian Cultural Institutes in the
world. Alongside the Italian Cultural Institutes in Beijing and
Shanghai, it is one of the three cultural agencies of the Italian
Ministry of Foreign Affairs in China.
The
Institute has been active since 2011 as an Italian government agency
dedicated to the promotion of Italian language and culture in Hong Kong
and Macao. To this end, the Institute organizes concerts, exhibitions,
screenings, readings and other cultural events and promotes cultural and
scientific collaboration between Italy, Hong Kong and Macao.
It collaborates closely with the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong.
