Paolo Polloniato. Born in 1979 in Nove (VI). Descended from a historic family of Master Craftsmen who for two centuries has represented an excellence in the production of ceramics in Nove, a city of ancient tradition since 1700.

Between 2001 and 2007, he attended the course of Decoration section B with professor Gaetano Mainenti, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice.

Her artistic research ranges through the use of different materials, chosen and dealt with according to the project and its aims.

Since 2008, contemporary ceramics has represented his fundamental research, developed through the reinterpretation of artisan techniques and the manipulation of antique moulds of historical manufactures.

He is considered one of the pioneers of the contemporary reuse and manipulation of ancient techniques related to ceramics.

After living a few years between Paris and Brussels, he is currently operating in Nove.
