CSAR Centro Studi sull'Arte Russa

The Centre for Studies on the Arts of Russia of the University Ca' Foscari Venice - CSAR carries out a systematic activity of research, enhancement and dissemination of the extraordinary cultural heritage that Russia has developed throughout history. Particular attention is paid to the concrete articulations of this experience, with examples from the art and culture of the past and present to the Russian tradition in music, theatre and cinema.

The CSAR, characterized by qualified international partnerships, wants to become a permanent place of meeting and discussion open to students, teachers and those who care about the development of studies on the great achievements of Russian civilization over the centuries. It also promotes the adherence to its scientific programs by Italian and Russian companies that support its activities.
