The Fondazione Pasquinelli was set up at the end of 2011 in Milan to honour the memory of Francesco Pasquinelli, a unique Milanese entrepreneur who combined his work with a passion for culture.
A successful industrialist through various initiatives in the fields of chemical filtration products, building insulation and quality packaging, Pasquinelli was a talented musician, graduating from the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory at the age of 17. Although he never played professionally again after entering the world of work, he never ceased to be passionate about music, just as he loved art, of which he was a connoisseur and collector.
Less than a year after his death in January 2011, the Pasquinelli Foundation was set up in Milan on the initiative of his life partner, Giuseppina Antognini, to commemorate his multifaceted personality through charitable activities and support for social and cultural promotion, with particular regard to the world of music and art.
