The personal archive of the historic Atelier Giusy Bresciani located in the heart of the fashionable and glamorous Milan will open its doors on the occasion of the long-awaited Design Week from 17 to 22 April 2018.
In the atmosphere of the imaginative craftsman atelier of Via Bernardino Zenale 15, we find ourselves immersed in a curious exhibition that collects part of the 140 wooden forms in the space with which the atelier has always shaped its countless hats, from the most bizarre to the most usual.
An interesting historical excursus from the 30s to the present day to demonstrate how fashion cyclically reconnects with the past, as now obsolete forms, if re-opened and reformed, come back to life on our heads.
Infinite combination of wooden shapes and materials blend together to give birth to just as many headgear as ever present and which leave free rein to the imagination and personality of each of us. Multiple wooden sculptures that are shaped in modernity.
