Italian architect-turned designer Luca Rutelli will unveil his first personal line of handmade furniture, ORNATAE during Milan Design Week on 17th to 22d of April.
The exciting brand was born out of a strong desire to create his own designs outside of the regular client’s brief and to expand his perspective on global collaboration and design “contamination”.
A desire that took him all the way to the island of Bali to work hand in hand with skilled Indonesian artisans, blending his Italian heritage with their unique artistry.
ORNATAE’s collection is a reflection of Luca’s unique blend of free-spiritedness, architectural vision and hunger to expand his global perspective.
