Ladies and Gentlemen 2017

The second edition of the collective exhibition by PS and by the Roman gallery Secondome is held inside a popular house of Milan, in Via Cesare Correnti 14. A selection of designers, editors, materials and artisans will be able to interact with the history of the spaces in pursuit of research and matter applications. Indeed, many projects represent a shift from two-dimension to three-dimension, by transforming surfaces and typical upholstery materials into pieces of furniture and objects. This shift in dimensions is the core of 2017 selection and symbol of the new trend.

For example, the studio Apparatu from Barcelona will show for Cosentino upholstery company a functioning prototype of a kitchen made of Dektonclay. The studio DWA from Milan will present Silipol Studies N.2, a research on material carried out together with Marietti Fulget. Botteganove introduces Chiara Andreatti’s collection; she is the new art director of this company that is going on exploring tridimensional mosaic upholstery. Fabscarte will present a double collection of handmade material wallpapers as proposed by Marthyn Thompson and Marcin Rusak.

Confirmed exhibitors are also Silvio Mondino with the Chemistry lights collection, Vito Nesta with Les Ottomans, ByHenzel with the new collection in collaboration with Andy Warrol Foundation, Stories of Italy with a collection of objects in Murano glass with the topic “time”, and Samer Alameen with a project of refined minimalism.

The Secondome gallery will present the Unplugged collection that joins projects by Stefano Marolla, Giò Tirotto, Vito Nesta, Alessandro Zambelli, 4P1B and Millim Studio.
